  • INHALATION
    		• Cough. Sore throat.
         		 Ventilation.
         		 Fresh air, rest.
     
  • SKIN
    		• Redness.
         		 Protective gloves.
         		 Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
     
  • EYES
    		• Redness. Pain.
         		 Safety goggles.
         		 First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
     
  • INGESTION

    •      		 Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
     
     
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Then wash away with plenty of water.
         		 Separated from strong oxidants.

    PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
    HYGROSCOPIC LIQUID OR CRYSTALS , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR. TURNS BROWN ON EXPOSURE TO AIR AND LIGHT.

    PHYSICAL DANGERS:
    The vapour is heavier than air.

    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
    The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic and corrosive fumes including nitrogen oxides. The substance is a weak base. Reacts with oxidants.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
    TLV: ppm; 5 mg/m3 (ACGIH 1993-1994).


         		 ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
    The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol, through the skin and by ingestion.

    INHALATION RISK:
    No indication can be given about the rate in which a harmful concentration in the air is reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
    The substance irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
    Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization.
